Who now is turning seven.

Our prayer for you this year is that

You lay firm hold on heaven

We thank the Lord for blessing you

With one more year to live

We thank the Lord that you, our dear

To us the Lord did give

Your smiles are like sunshine

Your hugs are warm and firm

Your laughter is contagious

When with tickles you do squirm

Your questions are insightful

Your memory is strong

Your self control is adm’rable

When to Jesus they belong

We pray this year that we may be

A light to guide your way

That we may lead you to the Lord

That to Him you obey

Nothing in this life compares

With life that is to come

When with the angels we will sing

On golden harps we’ll strum

With lions and with leopards

We will play and we will run

But most of all we’ll see the face

Of the Heavenly Father’s Son

This year you have the privilege

Of walking with the Lord

Surrendering your life to Him

Receiving His reward

And then one day you’ll hear the words

If faithful to the end

Enter in to heaven’s joy

Well done my faithful friend
